of the Blue Ridge Mountains Historic Civil War battlefields are
nearby. There are 27 public recreation areas around the lake with boat ramps,
most charge a $2.00 fee (annual pass of $ 25 is also available). 45 miles
north of Atlanta off I75 and Cartersville exit. Motels are also available

Just southwest of Hilton on Georgia State Route 62.
Lake Julliette.
HP. 20, 3600 Campsites, Picnic Grounds, Fishing, Ramps. 62 miles of shore
line. Man made lake for the Georgia power, plant Sherer. The lakes elevation
is maintained at 435 feet above mean sea level. When the lake is full, the
water level is about 35 feet above the treetops. Dames Ferry Public use area
is about 2 miles north of Georgia Highways intersection 18 and 87. This area
has the boat ramp, restrooms, Camping with hook ups, Sail boaters are on the
water most weekends. Scuba divers also use the area. For further info call

Nottely
Lake . Boating, Fishing, Swimming, Picnic/Day Use. This ten mile long
lake includes many forks, coves and islands. Located north of Atlanta
off U.S. 19 and Blairsville.

known for largemouth bass. Right on the Florida border near Bainbridge.
Lake Sidney

and is one of Atlanta's most popular boating lakes. Numerous coves and islands
are located all over the lake. Located northeast of Atlanta just west of Cumming
and U.S. 19.

Walter F.

West Point

Visitor Information Center. There are 34 public recreation areas on this lake
of 525 miles of shoreline. Two privately operated marinas provide fuel, storage,

Handicapped. Just north of Columbus off I-85.
