Best by small craft.
- Kenai River.
Fishing, Boat Ramps. This river is accessable by road 100 + miles south
of Anchorage. There are numerous boat landings, large lakes (Kenai and Skilak)
white water, and wonderful fishing for trout, several species of salmon and
Dolly Varden.
- Yukon River.
Fishing. Call Alaska Travel and Tourism for more information. Runs E-W
through Central Alaska.
