77, 46 miles east on Kansas State Route 96.
- Hillsdale

In the transition area of eastern hardwood forests and the western prairie
lands. 10 miles south of Kansas City on I 35 then 12 miles south on U.S. 169.
Jayhawk Marina

of I 35 off U.S. 75.

(small fee may apply), Marina, Fuel. Visitor Information Center. Home of Fort
Harker Museum and the Roger's Art Gallery reflecting the settlement of the
American West. Kansas' first state park, also visit Indian rock carvings in
the area. Just 36 miles southeast of Salina off Kansas State Routes 140 and
141.
Hart Marina
- Marion Lake.

(small fee may apply). Portions of the Historical Santa Fe Trail are still
visible in the area, along with historical houses. Northeast of Newton, take
Kansas State Route 15 and then turn east of U.S. 56.
- Melvern

Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp ($ 2.00 daily fee), Marina, Fuel. Visitor Information
Center. There are nine parks located around the lake with over 650 campsites.
Be sure to visit the 30 mile recreation trail on the eastern shoreline. Located
17 miles northeast of Topeka on U.S. 24.
Lake Perry Yatch and Marina

Pomona Lake Marina

(small fee may apply). Located 59 miles east-southeast of El Dorado off U.S.
54 and Kansas State Route 105.
- Tuttle Creek

and one of the clearest lakes in the state. Located about 50 miles west of
Salina off I 70 and the Wilson exit.
