Chesapeake
and Delaware Canal. Extends from Norfolk, Virginia all the way to near
Aberdeen, Maryland. There are many launch ramps and marinas in the area, most
with restrooms and drinking water. Points of interest include Point Lookout
(at the opening of the Potomac), Calvert Cliffs (Near Lexington Park), Janes
Island (near Crisfield), White Crystal Beach (near Aberdeen), Beverly Beach
(near Annapolis), and Gun Powder Falls (just north of Baltimore). Baltimore
also has a popular waterfront area. Large Craft are the most popular on the
waterway, small craft are urged to check weather and wave conditions before

Deep Creek
Lake. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms,
Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small
fee may apply). Deep Creek Lake State Park lies on the western shoreline.
