Chesapeake and Delaware Canal. Extends from Norfolk, Virginia all
the way to near Aberdeen, Maryland. There are many launch ramps and marinas
in the area, most with restrooms and drinking water. Points of interest
include Point Lookout (at the opening of the Potomac), Calvert Cliffs (Near
Lexington Park), Janes Island (near Crisfield), White Crystal Beach (near
Aberdeen), Beverly Beach (near Annapolis), and Gun Powder Falls (just north
of Baltimore). Baltimore also has a popular waterfront area. Large Craft
are the most popular on the waterway, small craft are urged to check weather
and wave conditions before setting sail. Marine Radio and Signal Flares

Deep Creek Lake. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Deep Creek Lake State Park lies on the
western shoreline. Located in western Maryland off U.S. 219.

Liberty Reservoir. Fishing, Picnic/Day Use, Restrooms, Drinking
Water. This reservoir supplies drinking water for Baltimore and extends
up to 8 miles and features many coves. Located 12 miles northwest of Baltimore
off Maryland State Route 140.
