Lake Mead. 32,359,274 Acres of Water, 550 miles of Shoreline, 115
miles long and up to 589 feet deep at high water level, Fishing, House
Boating, Restaurants, Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers,
Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch
Ramp (small fee may apply), Marinas, Fuel, Visitor Information Center.
One of the most scenic lakes in all of the west featuring canyons, boulders
and clear blue water. The lake runs from the Colorado River in the Grand
Canyon to Hoover Dam. It is surrounded by the Lake Mead National Recreational
Area. Popular spots on the lake includes Callville Bay Marina, Burro Point
(Arizona), Hoover Dam (726 feet high by 1244 feet in length), Hemenway
Harbor, Promontory Point, Boulder Islands, Hemenway Harbor, Boulder Beach,
Lake Mead Lodge and Marina, Las Vegas Boat Harbor and Las Vegas Wash Ranger
Station. Just 15 miles east of Las Vegas.

Lake Mohave Lake Mohave is 67 miles south of Hoover Dam is 67 miles
long with 45 square miles of surface, and is part of the Lake Mead
National Recreation Area. Launch Ramps, Camping with and without Electric
Hookup, Boat Rentals, Launch Ramps, Fuel, Hotels / Motels, Restaurants
and shops are available in Katherine, about 35 miles west of Kingman. Lake
Mohave stays very closely to the original course of the Colorado River.
Black Canyon, just below Hoover Dam, has dramatic sheet walls 800 ft. high
and many small side canyons from which hot springs flow. The Lake widens
gradually to approximately 4.2 miles across in the Cottonwood Basin. Call

Pyramid Lake. A large body of water just north of Reno, however
it is located in the Pyramid Lake Indian Reservation area.

Rye Patch Lake. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup,
Restrooms, Drinking Water, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply),
Features Wye Patch Recreational Area. Located 36 miles southwest of Winnemucca,
Nevada off I 80.

Walker Lake. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup, Restrooms,
Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use. Features Tamarack
Point Recreational Area and Sportsman's Beach near the Naval Area. The
Southern side of the lake is in the naval ammunition depot area. Located
off U.S. 95 just north of Hawthorne.

Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Marina, Fuel, Visitors
Information Center. One of the most popular lakes in the western U.S. There
are several popular spots around the lake including Kings Beach State Recreational
area, Tahoe State Recreational Area, Sugar Pine Pt. D. L. Bliss, Bay View
and Emerald Bay (California side) and Cave Rock, Nevada Beach, Secret and
Skunk Harbors (Nevada Side). Located just west of Carson City, Nevada.
