Arrowhead Lake / Jamestown Reservoir. Fishing. Arrowhead Lake section
is located upstream from Arrowhead Reservoir. Just north of Jamestown east
of U.S. 52.

Ashtabula Lake. Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers,
Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Marina,
Fuel, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Visitors Information Center. Nearby
Sibley Trail was once used by pioneers. Located 11 miles northwest of Valley

Bowman-Haley Lake. Campsites without electric hookup, Restrooms,
Drinking Water, Picnic/day use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). On a
former Sioux hunting ground of plains and treeless slopes. Located 24 miles
southeast of Bowman off U.S. 85 (follow signs). (402) 221-4274.

Devils Lake. Fishing. located just southwest of the city of Devils
Lake off U.S. 2.

Garrison dam/Lake Sakakawea. Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day
use, Marina, Fuel, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Visitors Information
Center. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers largest lake and one of six to
control recurrent flooding on the Missouri River. The lake extends from
just southwest of Wellington near the Montana border to Audubon Lake just
northeast of Riverdale. Several state parks and recreational areas are
located all along this massive body of water including (west to east) Raums,
Lewis and Clark, Tobacco Garden, Four Bears, Van Hook, Parshall Bay, Deep
Water Creek, Charging Eagle, Mackenzie Bay, Little Missouri Bay, Lost Bridge,
Twin Buttes, Beulah Bay, Hazen, Douglas Creek, and Totten Trail. The far
eastern portion of the lake leads into Audubon Lake but is divided by U.S.
Route 83. This area is located 70 miles north of Bismarck off of U.S. 83

Homme Lake. Campsites with and without electric hookup, Restrooms,

north of Grand Forks, North Dakota off U.S. 81 and North Dakota State Route

Long Lake. Fishing. This lake is broken into several pools. Located
8 miles south of Steele south of I 94.

Lower Des. Lacs. Fishing. Located just northwest of Stanley off
North Dakota State Route 8.

Missouri River. Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers,
Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Fuel,
Launch Ramps (small fee may apply), Visitors Information Center. Nearly
the entire western portion of the Missouri River is Lake Sakakawea. There
are however some other great boating spots on the southern portion of the
Missouri River (that which lies in North Dakota). The River is pooled as
Lake Oahe from south of Bismarck to the South Dakota State Line. Recreational
sites and state parks include (going south) Ft. Lincoln, Sugar Loaf, Badger
Bay, Cannon Ball, Beaver Creek, Winona and Fort Yates. Access points include
off I 94 a few miles west of Bismark and various points off North Dakota
State Route 1804 on Lake Sakakawea and Oahe.

Patterson Lake. Fishing. Located just southwest of Dickinson off
South Dakota State Route 22.

Pipestem. Campsites without electric hookup, Restrooms, Drinking
Water, Picnic/day use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Visitors Information
Center. In the Prairie Pothole Region 5 miles north of Jamestown on U.S.

Sheyenne Reservoir. Located 25 miles southwest of Fargo, North Dakota.

Stump Lake. Located about 28 miles southeast of Devils Lake south
of U.S. 2.
