Lake Abert. Fishing. This 14 mile long lake is located just north
of Valley Falls and Chandler State Park off U.S. 395.

Bonneville Lock & Dam / Lake Bonneville. Fishing, Campsites

Information Center. 2000 feet rugged rock walls of the Columbia River Gorge
provide fascinating scenery. Also be sure to watch migrating fish from
the underwater viewing rooms next to the fish ladders. Two of the nation's

Bully Creek Reservoir. 985 acres. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites,

species include smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, rainbow, and black crappie.

Crater Lake. Scenery. A must see crater formed lake in the heart
of Crater Lake National Park. Accessible only in the summer months. Great
spot for hiking! There are no boat ramps due to the 1000 foot cliff all
around the lake, but boat rides are available (they were brought in by
helicopter) for a small fee.

is available at Goose Lake State Park on the eastern shoreline. On the

near Green Peter Mountain and an historic gold mining area 10 miles northeast

Hagg Lake (Henry). 1132 acres, Skiing, Fishing, Swimming,
Restrooms, Drinking Water, Picnic/day use (3 areas), Two Launch Ramps (Small
Fee Applies). Known as Henry Hagg Lake, this reservoir is open only during
trout season (april through october). The lake is divided into two halves.
One for skiing -general boating, and the other that is no wake for fishing
and swimming. A day use fee is charged but you can purchase seasonal passes.
There is a boat rental concession that rents small fishing boats and pedal
boats at one of the boat ramps. Overnight camping is not permitted.
Located about 30 minutes west of Portland off Patton Valley Rd just south
of Forest Grove.

Many recreational activities are located along this trek to Crater Lake

Lake Owyhee. 13,900 acres, 52 miles long. Swimming, Fishing, Campsites
without electric hookup, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station,
Picnic/day use, Marina, Lodging, Fuel, Launch Ramp (small fee may
apply). Available species include largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, crappie,
rainbow trout, brown bullhead, and yellow perch. The State of Oregon recently
has advised anglers to limit the consumption of fish from Owyhee Reservoir
due to elevated levels of mercury. See postings at the lake.

rainbow trout, black crappie, yellow perch, and coho salmon. Located
approximately 15 miles southwest of Baker City off Oregon State Highway

Prineville Reservoir. 3030 acres. Swimming, Fishing, Campsites without

(small fee may apply). Located 15 miles south of Prineville. Good access
to north side of reservoir via Juniper Canyon Rd.. South side and lower
end of reservoir access via scenic drive up the Crooked River and over

Lake Simtustus / Lake Chinook Fishing, Campsites without electric

Summer Lake. Fishing. Located just north of Summer Lake Hot Springs
off Oregon State Route 31.

Ten Mile Lakes. 182 miles of shoreline, Water Sports, Swimming,
Campsites, Picnic Grounds, Fishing, Ramps, Marina, Fuel, Information Area.
Ten Mile Lake and North Ten Mile Lake are both located off U.S. 101 at
Lakeside.

Thief Valley Reservoir. 740 acres. Fishing, Campsites, Restrooms,
Swimming, Boat Ramps (small fee may apply). Located about 25 miles north
of Baker City. Access via Interstate 84 and Oregon State Highway 87. (541)

Unity Reservoir. 4600 acres. Fishing, Campsites, Restrooms, Boat
Ramps (small fee may apply). Popular fishing spot but a little hard to
reach. Access is via a narrow, winding, gravel road. However, the drive
is worth it! Anglers will find smallmouth bass, rainbow trout, brown bullhead,
largemouth bass, and bluegill to the west side of the reservoir and dam.
Facilities are also limited to the west side of the reservoir and dam.
Located approximately 55 miles east of Burns, south of U.S. Highway 20.

Upper Klamath Lake / Agency Lake. Fishing, Campsites without electric

may apply). This 35 mile long lake is one of the largest in Oregon featuring
Pelican and Howard Bays. The city limits of Klamath Falls lies on the southern
shoreline. Hagelstein Recreational Area lies on the eastern shoreline,
Agency Lake makes up the northern section. Located in Klamath Falls off
Oregon State Route 62.

Wickiup Reservoir. 11,200 acres. Swimming, Campsites without electric

recreational areas are nearby. Fish species include kokanee, coho salmon,
rainbow trout, mountain whitefish, and trophy-size brown trout. Fishing
