Angostura Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Angostura Recreational Area is located
on the northeast side of the lake. Located near the Black Hills National
Forest17 miles northwest of Oelrichs off U.S. 18 / 385.

Belle Fourche Reservoir. Drinking Water, Restrooms, Picnic/Day Use.
This scenic 7 1/2 mile long lake is located in western South Dakota 9 miles
east of Belle Fourche off U.S. 212.

Big Bend Dam / Lake Sharp (Missouri River). Fishing, Campsites with
and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary
Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Marina, Fuel, Launch Ramp (small fee may
apply). Visitors Information Center. This is one of six large lakes on
the Missouri River. A nearby visitors information center features Indian
Artifacts. There are many recreational area along this stretch of the Missouri
River including (from north to south) Farm Island, Antelope Creek, Cedar
Creek, West Bend, Iron Nation, North Shore, Counselor Creek and Old Fort
Thompson. This area is located from Pierre along South Dakota State Routes
34 and 50 to Chamberlain. (402) 221-4274.

Bullhead Lake. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup, Restrooms,
Drinking Water, Picnic/day use. Roy Lake State Park is on the northern
shoreline on this 4 mile long lake. Located just a few miles west of Lake
City in Northeastern South Dakota off State Route 12.

Ft. Randall Dam / Lake Francis Case (Missouri River). Fishing, Campsites
with and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary
Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Marina, Fuel, Launch Ramp (small fee may
apply), Visitors Information Center. Numerous recreational areas are available
along the river, most with camping including ( from north to south) Elm
Creek Tougeom Wells, Snake Creek, Buryanek, Wynia Park, Platte Creek, S.
Wheeler, South Scalp Creek, White Swan and North Point. . This section
of the Missouri stretches from just south of Chamberlain to the Pickstown
and has many tributaries for secluded boating and fishing. Best access
point is off South Dakota State Route 44 just west of Platte and off U.S.

Gavins Point Dam / Lewis & Clark Lake (Missouri River). Fishing,
Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking
Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Marina, Fuel, Launch Ramp
(small fee may apply). Visitors Information Center. Several recreational
sites are near the dam on the South Dakota side. At it widest point the
this portion of the Missouri River reaches almost 4 miles wide and features
chalky bluffs towards the dam along with a tree covered shoreline. Best
access points are off South Dakota State Routes 50 and 52 west of Yankton.

Lake Oahe / Lake Campbell (Missouri River). Fishing, Campsites with
and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary
Dump Station, Picnic/day use, Marina, Fuel, Launch Ramp (small fee may
apply). Visitors Information Center. All types of boating is popular here.
This is South Dakota's largest lake and features Lewis and Clark campsites,
trading posts and many historical landmarks. The northern portion of the
lake stretches into North Dakota, the middle (also known as Lake Campbell)
is located just north of Mobridge, and Lake Oahe then stretches clear to
just north of Pierre. The Cheyenne River Indian Reservation covers most
of the lower Lake area along its northwestern banks. Popular recreational
sites ( on the southeastern side going up counter clockwise) include Forest
Creek, Chantier Creek, Oahe Dam, Little Bend (on a peninsula) Bush's Sutton
Bay, Le Beau, Swan Creek and Thomas Bay. Best southern access point includes
U.S. 212 about 12 miles east of Gettysburg. Lake Campbell can be accessed
near Mobridge just south of U.S. 12. (402) 221-4274.

Shadehill Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/day use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Three recreational sites provide camping
on the western shoreline of this 8 mile long "V" shaped lake. Located in
the Grand River National Grassland in northwestern South Dakota at Shadehill
(off South Dakota State Route 73).

Waubay / South Waubay / Hillbrande / Spring / Enemy / Pickerel lakes.
Fishing. Several lakes in this region offer fishing and recreation. Located
in eastern South Dakota just northeast of U.S. 12 near Waubay.
