Beaver Dam Lake. Fishing, Golf. Fisher, New, Kopf and Majestic are
popular island stops while visiting by watercraft. Waterworks Park and
Edgewater Park offer Picnic Facilities. Located in Beaver Dam just northwest
of Milwaukee off U.S. 151.

Home of Big Timber Island Recreational area on the east side of the lake.
This 9 mile wide lake consists of many Islands and small bays and is located
southeast of Hayward off County Road B. Excellent Canoeing spot!

Eagle River Chain. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites, Picnic Grounds,
Ramps, Marina, Fuel. Lots of great boating of about 20 to 30 miles if you
portage your boat to the Three Lake Chain, Large machine lift to
poratge your boat is available. Several lakes are connected
by small channels, restaurants, golfing, and resorts. Its too
far from a major city for day trips, so it's usually not very crowded.

EauGalle Lake. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without electric

Big Eau Pleine Reservoir / Lake Du Bay. Fishing, Picnic/Day Use.
Campsites without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water,
Sanitary Dump Station, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). These two lakes
combine to a total of 16 miles of popular boating recreation featuring
many coves and branches. DuBay park provides camping facilities on Lake
Du Bay. Located off U.S. 51 at the Knowlton exit.

Chetek Chain of Lakes. Around 8 miles long. Watersports, Swimming,
Fishing, Campsites, Picnic Grounds, Ramps, Fuel, Information Center,
Marina. The Chetek Chain of lakes consists of Lake Chetek, Prairie Lake,
Pokegama Lake, Ojaski Lake, and Ten Mile Lake. They are all connected together.
There are any resorts and campgrounds. Easy access with mostly free ramps.
Located just north of Eau Claire on Route 53.

Fence Lake. 3500 Acres, Campsites, Picnic/Day Use, Fishing,
Launch Ramps (small fee may apply), Fuel. Excellent Fishing and Boating
Lake with world-class resorts. Lake Flambeau is just to the
north. Located near Minocqua in the North Woods of Wis. Take State Route
47 to Lac Du Flambeau.

Lake Geneva / Lake Como / Lake Delavan. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites
without electric hookup, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Picnic/Day Use, Launch
Ramp (small fee may apply), Marina, Fuel, Visitors Information Center.
Camping is available in the area. These three lakes are located in southern
Wisconsin between Delavan and Lake Geneva along Wisconsin State Route 50.

Green Bay / Lake Michigan. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and
without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump
Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Marina, Fuel,
Visitor Information Center. Red River Park and Patawatomi State Park (at
the point) are excellent camping sites. The entire bay area offers boating
and recreation which end in Green Bay.

Green Lake. Fishing. This lake is 7 miles long and lies to the southwest
of the community of Green Lake. Located on Wisconsin State Route 23.

Kegonsa Lake / Waubesa Lake. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and
without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump
Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Babcock Recreational
Area and Kegonsa State Park provide camping facilitates on these lakes.
Located just southeast of Madison off I 90.

Lake Koshkonong. Fishing. This 6.3 mile long lake is located off
I 90 at the Wisconsin State Route 73 exit.

Lac Courte Oreilles / Grindstone Lakes. Fishing. These two lakes
are mostly residential but offer excellent fishing. Lac Courte Oreilles
is 7 miles across and Grindstone is about 4 miles across. Located 5 miles
southeast of Hayward off County Road E.

Lac Vieux Desert. Fishing. Located on the Wisconsin border off U.S.
45 near Land of Lakes.

Mendota Lake / Monona Lake. Fishing, Shopping, Restaurants. These
two lakes are located on both sides of downtown Madison just 9 blocks and
the state capital apart. Waubesa and Kegonsa lie just to the southeast
of the Madison and all are between 3 and 5 miles in width (the largest
being Mendota). Located in the Madison area.

Mississippi River. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without
electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station,
Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Visitor Information
Center. Recreational sites featuring camping near the river include Perrot
State Park (just north of Fountain City), O.L. Kipp State Park (just northwest
of LaCross on the Minnesota side), Wyalusing State Park (in Prairie du
Chien), Nelson Dewy State Park (outside of Cassville) and Grant River.
The river stretches from Dubuque, Iowa to the St. Paul, Minnesota city
limits (all along the Wisconsin border).

Pentenwell Flowage / Castle Rock Flowage. Fishing, Campsites without
electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Picnic/Day Use, Launch
Ramp (small fee may apply), Marina, Fuel. A recreational area is located
on the southeastern shoreline of Castle Rock Flowage. Buckhorn State Park
(also on Caslte Rock) offers picnic facilities. The two lakes are divided
by a dam but combined measure a total of 33 miles and offer all kinds of
fishing opportunities. Located just off I 94 at the Wisconsin State Route
80 exit.

Pickaway Lake. Fishing. Mostly residential lake located north of
Wisconsin State Route 44 in Marquette.

Lake Poygan / Lake Butte des Morts. Fishing. These lakes are navigable
from Lake Winnebago through Oshkosh on the Fox River to Lake Butte des
Morts through the Wolf River through Winneconne to Lake Poygan. The total
distance from Oshkosh is about 20 miles. Also sorts of boating recreation
are found on these lakes. Located northwest of Oshkosh off U.S. 41 and
Wisconsin State Route 116.

Lake Redstone. Fishing, Camping (nearby), Beach, Fishing, Boating,
Picnic Day/Use, Ramps. Lake Redstone is apprx. 15 miles west of the Wiscosin
Dells in La Valle, Wisconsin. It features beautiful home sites, a public
beach, parks ( Lake Redstone County Park lies on the southern shoreline
of this 3 mile long scenic lake) and wonderful natural cliffs and rock
formations. Lake Redstone offers 18 miles of shoreline and offers great
fishing including Bass, Walleye, Northern, Blue Gill and Crappie (to mention
a few). Camping is offered nearby as is Lake Delton, the Wisconsin River
and several others in the Wisconsin Dells area.

Shawano Lake. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup, Restrooms,
Drinking Water, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Located
1 miles east of Shawano off Wisconsin State Route 22.

Spider Lake. (Whispering Pines). Fishing, 342 Acres, noted for great
Musky Fishing. Located near Mercer Wisconsin.

Lake Superior. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day
Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Marina, Fuel, Visitor Information
Center. Madeline Island provides Big Bay State Park for camping and other
recreational activities. Also be sure to visit the historical Old Mission
Point on the southern tip of Madeline Island. Several other recreational
areas are available along Lake Superior’s Shoreline including Lake Park
(in Port Wing off Wisconsin State Route 13), Red Cliff (just south of the
Red Cliff Indian Reservation), Bayview Park, (on the mainland just across
from Madeline Island) and Memorial Park (located in Chequamegon Bay). Larger
craft are recommended for the lake when venturing out from the Apostle
Island / North Channel / Chequamegon area. The popular boating spots are
just off Wisconsin State Route 13 just north of Ashland. Several scenic
towns are located along the route including Red Cliff, Bayfield and Washburn.

Three Lakes Area. Otter, Eagle, Voyager, Cranberry, Tambling, Little
Fork, Big Fork, Island Lake, Medicine Lake, and Big Stone Lake are all
just a few of the many lakes concentrated in this northern portion of the
state. Most are around a mile wide and features many islands and bays along
with excellent fishing and small boating opportunities. Located Southeast
of Eagle River off U.S. 45.

Lake Tomohawk. Campsites, Campsites, Picnic Grounds, Fishing, Ramps,
Marina, Fuel. Located near Minocqua, WI.

Turtle Flambeau Lake. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small
fee may apply). This lake features two commercial campgrounds both towards
the southwest side of the lake (one on an island). Lake of the Falls recreational
site and small lake lies on the northern edge. The lake reaches 9 miles
wide by as much long in spots and features numerous islands and small bays.

4 miles southwest of Mercer off U.S. 51 and County Road FF.

Lake Winnebago. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day
Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply), Visitor Information Center. Popular
stops include shopping in Oshkosh (on the middle western shoreline), Fond
du Lac (on the southern shoreline) and High Cliff State Park (on the lakes
northeast side). Unlimited horsepower make this 28 mile long lake popular
for all kinds of boating. Located and accessible at various points including
Oshkosh.

Lake Wissota. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee
may apply). Lake Wissota State Park lies on the eastern shoreline of this
scenic lake. The Chippewa River is connected to the lake which features
Brunet Island State Park (about 14 miles north of Lake Wissota) and Pine
Point Recreational site on Holcombe Flowage. Lake Wissota is located just
north of Eau Claire in Chippewa Falls.
