Alcova Reservoir. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without
electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station,
Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This small 4 mile wide
reservoir is located near the Fiery Narrows. Alcova Recreational site provides
camping on the southern shoreline. Located 30 miles southwest of Casper
off Wyoming State Route 220 in Alcova.

Big Sandy Reservoir. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without
electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station,
Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This 4 miles long lake
features excellent fishing and a nice recreational area on its southern
shoreline. Located less than 20 miles northwest of Farson off U.S. 191.

Boysen Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This 15 miles long by up to 4 miles
wide reservoir is located along the edge of the Wind River Indian Reservation
Area. Boysen recreational site provides camping sites. Located in Shoshoni
off U.S. 20 and 26.

Buffalo Bill Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day
Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This 5 mile long lake lies in one
of the most historical sites in the state of Wyoming. A couple of interesting
sites nearby include Buffalo Bill Museum and Art Gallery and Spirit Mountain
Caverns. Buffalo Bill State Park on the lakes eastern side provides recreational
camping. Located in Cody off U.S. 14 / 20.

Flaming Gorge Reservoir.
Fishing, Swimming, Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers,
Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch
Ramp (small fee may apply), Visitor Information Center. This lake lies
completely within the scenic Flaming Gorge National Recreational Area which
lies partially in Utah and mostly Wyoming. The lake itself extends more
than 40 miles (33 in Wyoming) and features many coves and forks. Popular
recreational sites include Squaw Hollow and Buckboard Crossing on the western
shoreline and Firehole Canyon and Upper Marsh Creek on the eastern shoreline.
Lucerne Valley Recreation offers camping on an outer fork surrounded on
three sides by the lake on the Utah side along the southwestern section.
A visitor information center provides more information on the historical
aspects of the site. From I 80 take the Green River Wyoming exit (near
the information center). Follow Wyoming State Route 530 if you wish to
see the western shoreline and visit access points.

Fontenelle Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This scenic 11 mile long lake is located
on the site of Mormon Ferry and is also close to Names Hill Emigrant Spring
and Old Ford. A recreational site features camping along the southwestern
shoreline near the dam. Located off U.S. 189 32 miles north of Kemmerer.

Fremont Lake / New Fork Lake / Willow Lake / Burnt Lake / Boulder Lake.
Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup, Showers, Restrooms,
Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small
fee may apply). Fremont lake is the largest in this national forest and
is 8 miles long and features Fremont Lake Recreational area (on the eastern
shoreline). Recreational sites are also located on New Fork Lake (Narrows
Recreational Area) and Burnt Lake (Half Moon Lake Recreational Area). All
these large lakes, (there are also many smaller too numerous to mention)
area located in the Bredger Teton National Forest near Pinedale off U.S.
191 and Wyoming State Route 352.

Glendo Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Glendo State Park has excellent camping
facilities along this 6 miles long lake. Located off I 25 25 miles south
of Douglas.

Guernsey Reservoir. Campsites with and without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use,
Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). Guernsey State Park provides camping
facilities. This “C” shaped reservoir is located off I 25 at the U.S. 26
exit (15 miles east to Guernsey).

Jackson Lake. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric hookup,
Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump
Station, Picnic/Day Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This 15 mile
long lake features many coves for excellent fishing. Three recreational
sites offer camping including Lizard Creek, Colter Bay and a site near
the dam. Located along the scenic John D. Rockefeller Parkway beginning
7 miles south of Yellowstone National Park. Boating Permits required -

Keyhole Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day
Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). The City of Pine Haven lies in
between the two forks of this 6 miles wide lake. Located off I 90 at the
U.S. 14 exit.

Pathfinder Reservoir. Fishing. This scenic lake is more than 20
miles long and features several forks. Located about 45 minutes southwest
of Casper off Wyoming State Route 20.

Powder River. Fishing, small boat charters available. The Powder
River extends from the South Fork Powder River near Rattlesnake Range in
the center of Wyoming north well into Montana. Access points are available
off Interstate 25 and U.S. 14/16. If your into both the cowboy and boating

Seminoe Reservoir. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day
Use, Launch Ramp (small fee may apply). This lake extends over 16 miles
point to point with numerous coves and forks. Seminoe State Park is located
on its northwestern shoreline and features recreational camping facilities.
Located 14 miles north of Sinclair and I 80, take Seminoe Road north to
the reservoir.

Shoshone Lake. Fishing. Fishing, Campsites with and without electric
hookup, Showers, Restrooms, Drinking Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day
Use. Located in the Yellowstone National Park just 5 miles west of the
Continental Divide. Nearby camping facilities are located near the park.
This lake also has a navigable channel for hand or foot propelled vessels
only to Lewis Lake to the south. See Yellowstone Lake for Boating permit

Yellowstone Lake. 110 miles of shoreline, the western U.S.’ largest
mountain lake. Fishing (there are however restricted areas, check with

Water, Sanitary Dump Station, Picnic/Day Use, Boat Ramps (small fee may
apply), Marina, Fuel, Visitor Information Center. This lake is located
in the Yellowstone National Park, the U.S. first national park. It measures
18 miles long by about 13 miles wide. Bridge Bay Marina is located on the
northwestern side of the lake and features boat rentals. Camping averages
between 8 dollars to 22 dollars per night (for more details visit http://www.issnet.com/pagemakers/yellowstone/camping.htm).
Boating permits are required for all vessels and must be obtained in person
at any of the following locations: South Entrance, Lewis Lake Campground,
Grant Village Visitor Center, Bridge Bay Marina, Lake Ranger Station, and
Mammoth Visitor Center. The fee is $20 (annual) or $10 (7 day) for motorized
vessels and $10 (annual) or $5 (7 day) for non-motorized vessels. A Coast
Guard approved personal flotation device is required for each person boating.

7 day permit or can be applied toward a Yellowstone annual permit. All
vessels are prohibited on park rivers and streams except the channel between
Lewis and Shoshone Lakes, where only hand propelled vessels are permitted.

Yellowtail Reservoir / Bighorn River. Fishing, Swimming, Campsites

in the scenic Big horn Canyon Area, 13 miles of the lake extends into Wyoming
from Montana and features two recreational sites: Horseshoe Bend and Kane
Bridge. Located 10 miles east of Lovell, Wyoming off U.S. alt 14.
